- Contrast
- Brightness

- Red
- Green
- Blue
- Moire
- Create Custom Image
- Factory Preset Image
- Exit to Main Menu
The Create Custom Image menu enables you to specify default settings for the following:
- Contrast
- Brightness
- Red
- Green
- Blue
- Save to Custom1
- Save to Custom2
The Brightness adjustment enables you to control the brightness of the entire screen image. Contrast increases or decreases
the brightness difference between the light and dark colors. Adjust the brightness and contrast according to ambient light
conditions to obtain the best picture quality.
There are seven preset color temperatures and two user-definable images available: 5000K, 6000K, 6500K, 7000K,
8000K, 9300K, 10000K, Custom1, and Custom2. Use the left- and right-arrow buttons to view the available selections.
The image turns red when the lower-temperatures options are selected and blue when the higher-temperature options are
selected.
Use the Red, Green, or Blue intensity controls to adjust any preset tint. Adjustments are stored, but if you later select any
preset tints, the adjustments are erased.
Moire may occur on the screen in continuous tone images if the image has been rasterized. If the dot density of the image is
near that of the picture tube, an interference pattern, called moire, appears on the screen. You can reduce pattern
interference by selecting the Moire menu option. Use the right-arrow button to adjust the moire to the right of the zero
percentage (0%) on the scale until the pattern is acceptable. If there is no moire in the picture, return the adjustment to zero
(0%).
You can create and store two image settings, each containing individual contrast, brightness, and color temperature (red,
green, blue) adjustments.
To create a custom image:
- Use the up- or down-arrow button to select Create Custon Image, and open the submenu by pressing the right-arrow
button.
- Adjust the desired contrast, brightness, red, green, and blue settings in the Create Custom Image submenu.
- Select Save to Custom1 or Save to Custom2 to store the settings.
Select Exit Without Saving if you want to return to the Image menu without storing the settings.
The custom settings can be recalled to the screen using the Color menu option.
The Factory Preset Image deletes any user-created settings for image properties and returns the properties to the
manufacturer's default settings.
