FCC Class B Statement

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  • This device may not cause harmful interference, and
  • This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

WARNING: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation.

If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from the one which the receiver is connected to.
  • Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

The user may find the following booklet prepared by the Federal Communications Commission helpful: The Interference Handbook. This booklet is available from the U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D.C. 20402. Stock No. 004-000-00345-4.

NOTE: In order to maintain compliance with the limits of a Class B digital device, Aironet requires that you use quality interface cables when connecting to this device. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Aironet could void the user's authority to operate this equipment. Refer to the manual for specifications on cabling types.

Canadian Compliance Statement

This device complies with RSS-210 of Industry of Canada. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  • this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

The devices are certified to the requirements of RSS-139-1 for 2.4 GHz spread-spectrum devices. The use of these devices in a system operating either partially or completely outdoors may require the user to obtain a license for the system according to the Canadian regulations.
