You need to be at your computer with your software running and the product
documentation at hand.
The technician may ask for the following:
Your address and telephone number
The name and model number of the product you are calling about
The serial number and service tag of the product
The names and version numbers of the software you are using to operate the
product
The name and version number of the operating system you are using
