Diagnostics for Dell-Supplied Devices
NOTE: Dell OpenManage Array Manager version 3.5 (or later) or Server Administrator Storage
Management Service 1.0 (or later) is required to diagnose RAID controllers and attached devices when
using the Server Administrator Diagnostic Service. If Array Manager version 3.5 or Server Administrator
Storage Management Service version 1.0 is not installed, the diagnostics for RAID controllers and
attached devices will not be available.
NOTE: You must install Dell-qualified device drivers in order to run diagnostics on devices like tape
drives, tape autoloaders, tape libraries and NIC. See the documentation that came with your device, or
access the latest drivers from the Dell Support website at support.dell.com.
