Um Informationen zum Verwenden von xpdf zu erhalten, öffnen Sie ein Fenster mit der Eingabeaufforderung, geben Sie
man xpdf ein, und drücken Sie die <Eingabetaste>.
So öffnen Sie ein Dokument im X-Windows-System:

Geben Sie Folgendes ein und drücken Sie die <Eingabetaste>:
startx
Geben Sie nach der Eingabeaufforderung Folgendes ein und drücken Sie die <Eingabetaste>:
xpdf <file_name>
where <file_name> is the document name.
Zum Beispiel:
xpdf lnx7132.pdf
Wechseln Sie mithilfe der Pfeilschaltflächen Nach-Rechts und Nach-Links auf dem xpdf-Bildschirm.
Die Schaltfläche mit dem einzelnen Pfeil verschiebt das Dokument eine Seite in die angezeigte Richtung.
Die Schaltfläche mit dem doppelten Pfeil verschiebt das Dokument 10 Seiten in die angezeigte Richtung.
