Jumpers: Dell OptiPlex GX1 Systems

note.gif (949 bytes) NOTE: On systems made before April 19, 1999, the processor speed defaults to 350 MHz when none of the speed jumper pins has a jumper plug installed.

Systems made after April 19, 1999 do not require you to set the processor speed jumper. The jumper is set to 266 MHz in the factory and the system automatically determines the correct processor speed.

500MHz Jumpered when the microprocessor's internal speed is 500 MHz.
450MHz Jumpered when the microprocessor's internal speed is 450 MHz.
400MHz Jumpered when the microprocessor's internal speed is 400 MHz.
350MHz Jumpered when the microprocessor's internal speed is 350 MHz.
333MHz Jumpered when the microprocessor's internal speed is 333 MHz.
300MHz (default) Reserved. Do not change.
266MHz (default) Jumpered when the microprocessor's internal speed is 266 MHz.
BUS66M

(default)
External system clock speed is 66 MHz when jumpered.

External system clock speed operates at 100 MHz when not jumpered.
BIOS (default) Reserved. Do not change.
PSWD (default)

The password features are enabled.

The password features are disabled.
