Remove the two M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the touch pad cover and
remove it.
Carefully remove the cable assembly from the cable guides.
Remove the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure each of the right and left
speaker assemblies to the base of the computer.
Remove the speaker assembly.

Replacing the E5400 Speaker Assembly

NOTE: This procedure assumes that you have completed the removal procedure first.
Align the guide holes in the speaker assembly with the guide posts on the
base of the computer, then lower the right and left speaker assemblies into
place.
Replace the four M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the right and left speaker
assemblies to the base of the computer.

Remove the two M2 x 3-mm screws that secure the each of the right and
left speaker assemblies to the palm rest of the computer.
Carefully remove the cable assembly from the cable guides.
Remove the speaker assembly.
