Removing the Hinge Covers

The hinge covers are not interchangeable; the left one covers the Multimode DisplayPort, and the right one covers the RJ-45 network connector.

1. Follow the procedures in Before Working on Your Computer.
   
   
2. Close the display and turn the computer over.
   
   
3. Remove the two M2.5 x 5-mm screws from the hinge covers.
   
   
4. Slide each hinge cover off the computer and lift to remove it.
   
   

Replacing the Hinge Covers

1. Slide the left hinge cover over the Multimode DisplayPort and slide the right hinge cover over the RJ-45 network connector.
   
   
2. Replace the two M2.5x5-mm screws in each hinge cover.
