Removing Front-Panel Inserts—Small Desktop Computer

  1. Facing the front of the computer, use your fingers to remove the front- panel cover.

  2. Press on the insert until it pops free of the front-panel cover.

Removing Front-Panel Inserts—Mini-Tower Computer

  1. Open the computer cover to a 45-degree angle and disconnect the removable media drive data cable.

  2. Open the cover to a 90-degree angle and release the insert tabs from inside the computer.

  3. Press on the insert until it pops free of the front-panel cover.

Replacing Front-Panel Inserts

To replace a front-panel insert, follow the "Removing Front-Panel Inserts" procedures in reverse.
